How does the free plan work?

What if I'm not a server admin? Can I still use Talksy?
Yes — install Talksy directly to your Discord account (no admin perms needed). Then /translate and right-click → Apps → Translate Message work in every server you're in, even ones where the bot isn't installed. Replies are private (only you see them). Auto-translate, stealth mode, channel routes, and glossary still require server install.
What does Pro unlock?
Truly unlimited translations across every server you're in, channel-to-channel routing for news/announcements, per-server glossaries that protect game and brand names from being translated, plus translation history and priority processing.
Does Pro work across multiple servers?
Yes — Pro is tied to your Discord account, so your unlimited translations follow you into every server you join. No per-server fee, no re-subscribing when you join a new community. With user install, /translate and right-click → Apps → Translate Message even work in servers where the bot itself isn't installed.
Does my Pro upgrade also benefit other members of my server?
Indirectly, yes. Your personal translation budget is just for you. But the server-level features you set up — channel-to-channel translation routes and unlimited glossary terms — apply to every message in that server, so all members benefit from the routes and glossary you create as a Pro admin.
Should one server admin pay, or each user?
Depends on your server. If members regularly hit the free 250-translation cap, each heavy user benefits from upgrading individually (each gets unlimited). If you only need the Pro-only admin features (routes, unlimited glossary), one Pro subscription from any admin is enough — those server-level features benefit everyone.
Can I cancel anytime?
